Ubo Case 4 - Customizable Enclosure for Raspberry Pi 4

What is it?

Ubo Case 4 is a high-end hackable/open source enclosure for Raspberry Pi 4. It includes 17W USB-C Power Adapter, Ethernet Cable, 32 GB MicroSD card. It offers internal and external STEMMA QT/Qwiic connectors, and routes all connectors to the back. It converts Mini HDMI to full HDMI ports as well.

The Top PCB is hackable and can be re-designed to deliver other functions. We offer a set of PCB design templates on out GitHub repo that you can use to customize the functionality.

Why did you make it?

I designed this enclosure for myself initially since I could not find a versatile enclosure in the market that can be easily customized and work nicely with HAT and add-ons. I use this enclosure myself across various project, notably Ubo Pro (https:// getubo.com), Personal AI Assistant. The enclosure is upgrade and I am going to offer other modules and add-ons down the road to allow for upgrades and full customization.

What makes it special?

This is an integral part of my toolbox and the chassis for my other Raspberry Pi based projects. Unlike other Raspberry Pi enclosures you can easily customize this one since it is fully open source. You can redesign the blank top PCB to give it a new functionality.
